Our Story
Beginning of the breakthrough
It all started on a memorable day, July 18, 2021, when Emcee NRS rallied the Jaipur hip-hop artists through calls and social media promotions, giving birth to the Jaipur Hip-Hop Cypher. Where, over 50 talented artists, gathered to share their love for hip-hop on that day. The first cypher was a resounding success, prompting Emcee NRS to take the initiative further by planning subsequent cyphers on alternate Sundays.
On September 5, 2021, Jaipur Hip-Hop Cypher achieved their first remarkable feat with the celebration of 5th consecutive cypher as HIP-HOP DARBAR. This event incorporated all five performing elements of Hip-hop, making it historic for the Rajasthan Hip-hop scene.
Tri-City Cyphers and the establishment of RHC
Emcee NRS and the team pushed boundaries by organizing tri-city cyphers simultaneously in Jaipur, Jodhpur, and Udaipur on October 3, 2021. This marked the transition from Jaipur Hip-hop Cypher to Rajasthan Hip-hop Cypher, establishing the first-ever registered hip-hop organization in the state – Rajasthan Hip-Hop Center.
Expansion and Exclusive Events
Since then, Rajasthan Hip-Hop Center has expanded its reach and now hosts exclusive events such as Hip-hop Darbar, Shaam-e-Hiphop, and Desert Drip. We are committed to education and artist development, evident through their renowned program, HIP-HOP SKOOL, which empowers and supports artists in their learning and growth journey.
Engaging Activities and Impact
The organization actively engages in a variety of activities, including events, live shows, cyphers, workshops, cleanliness drives, artist meetups, and awareness campaigns in collaboration with government bodies. We have successfully organized over 100 cypher activities, showcasing their dedication and impact on the Hip-hop community.
Making Waves in the Music Scene
The Rajasthan Hip-hop Center has garnered attention all over India,with their unique blend of traditional Rajasthani music and contemporary hip-hop elements captivating audiences.
Artists from Rajasthan Hip-hop Cypher have performed as a collective at various college and university events, including prestigious cultural events like RENDEZVOUS IIT Delhi, Mood Indigo IIT Bombay, and The Spring Fest at IIT Kharagpur. We have also been involved in government events and club/cafe shows, solidifying their presence in the music scene.
Holistic Approach and Services
Rajasthan Hip-Hop Center excels not only in event curation/management services but also offers music studio services through RHC MIXLAB. We provide Hip-hop education through HIP-HOP SKOOL, showcasing their holistic approach towards Hip-hop culture.

We have actively participated in some of the most prestigious cultural events and festivals, such as RENDEZVOUS at IIT Delhi, MOOD INDIGO at IIT Bombay, and SPRING FEST at IIT Kharagpur. These collaborations have provided us with platforms to showcase the immense talent of our artists and share the vibrancy of Rajasthan’s hip-hop scene with a broader audience.
Our founder, Emcee NRS aka Naresh Kumar Verma, has been honored with the role of brand ambassador for Swachh Survekshan Abhiyan 2023. This recognition speaks to our commitment to social responsibility and our dedication to using hip-hop as a vehicle for positive change.

In less than 2 years, Rajasthan Hip-hop Center has achieved remarkable milestones that have solidified our presence in the hip-hop scene. We proudly hosted the first-ever Hip-hop Darbar, a groundbreaking event where over 70 artists showcased their talents across 7 different art forms, creating a truly immersive experience. We also pioneered the first Tri City Cypher in India, uniting artists from Jaipur, Jodhpur, and Udaipur in a collaborative hip-hop showcase. With over 100 cyphers and 50+ live shows, we have provided consistent platforms for artists to express themselves. Even during the challenging times of the COVID pandemic, we adapted by organizing a Virtual Hip-hop Cypher Week, allowing over 100 artists to perform live on Instagram and maintain the vibrant spirit of hip-hop.
Through our cleanliness drives, artist meetups, and workshops, we have actively engaged with the local community, spreading awareness about hip-hop culture, promoting artistic expression, and contributing to social causes. Our initiatives aim to make a positive impact, not only within the hip-hop community but also in society as a whole.
